FAQ

Of course, I understand how important and sentimental these pieces are and how some clients may not wish to post when they are local so I will always be happy for customers to drop their inclusions off with me directly and then collect the finished pieces.

I am based in Colchester, Essex CO2. Once your order has been placed you will be emailed with all the information required.

I WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY RETURNS OR EXCHANGES OF ANY KIND. EACH PIECE IS UNIQUE AND THEREFORE CANNOT BE RETURNED. PLEASE BE 100% SURE ON RING SIZE PRIOR TO ORDERING AS A REFUND OR EXCHANGE WILL NOT BE ISSUED IF YOU HAVE ORDERED THE INCORRECT SIZE.

Note that variations such as small air bubbles within the piece, mould lines, evidence of hand forming or hand sanding, bead caps not sitting 100% flush, and other small imperfections are all within the normal range of handmade jewellery.

By purchasing from ECHO OF TIME KEEPSAKES, you understand your piece will not be 100% “flawless”. Exchanges or remakes are not covered if it has been longer than three days since you received your piece and failed to promptly notify me of your concerns or if the designer has determined that your jewellery concerns fall within the normal range of handmade variations. You must send your jewellery back to me and have it in my hands within TWO WEEKS from the date the issue was addressed with us (14 days) of reporting the faulty jewellery to me.

If you have shipped your breastmilk and I have begun the process of preserving your milk or creating your jewellery, there is no refund available.

I check all my received mail periodically throughout the week and will send you an email stating that I have received it. It is your responsibility to make sure that i received it, as I do not contact customers who I haven’t received things from.

My current wait time is 2-8 weeks after receiving your inclusions.

I always make each piece with the love, care and respect it deserves which means some take longer than others however if you have a preferred date please let me know before ordering and I can help advise of the best pieces for you.

For breastmilk i recommend 15ml of milk however if you have less than this then please get in touch as I may still be able to create a breastmilk piece for you. This milk can be fresh, Frozen or spoiled as it will be preserved it will not effect the piece.

Please NEVER send the last of your milk as there have been cases of the post loosing your mail and I am human so while i do everything to avoid it mistakes can happen.

For cremation ashes I recommend 1 teaspoon and any unused ashes will be returned along with your finished piece.

For hair and fur I recommend a lock of hair or a pinch of fur. Please Tie the hair in the centre with the cotton thread. Please don’t use sticky tape or foil.

For horse hair I recommend around 10 strands of horse hair (mane or tail)

For fabric I recommend a piece the size of a playing card is more than enough. If you only have a tiny square, just cut it in half and send half. I can work with tiny amounts! You can also send threads, yarn, sequins and beads from the fabric.

I can also use grave soil, pregnancy caps and formula but please get in touch in advance if you require something not listed on the product listings.

I am happy to use more than one milk whether it be from different babies or from 2 different points of your breastfeeding journey. You can either combine both sets of milk in the one container to make the 15ml which is included in the website cost or if you would prefer both sets to be preserved separately then there would be an addition charge of £12 in order to process the additional breastmilk. If you would like this please get in touch prior to ordering.

Please be aware that by purchasing a keepsake from ECHO OF TIME KEEPSAKES and sending in your breastmilk that you free ECHO OF TIME KEEPSAKES, the owner/designer, JESSICA CRANMER, and all estate and associates of JESSICA CRANMER from any liability of your breastmilk. It is requested above that you do not send the very last of your breastmilk and that you reserve some at home. For breastmilk that you send, we are released from ALL liability or legal pursuit for any accidents or loss to your breastmilk including fire, flood, studio robbery, Act of God, or other accidents. Your order and sending your breastmilk implies your agreement and understanding of this policy.

ECHO OF TIME KEEPSAKES is not, under any circumstances, responsible for loss and/or damage in shipping. We do not take responsibility for other businesses and their handling such as Royal Mail and other mail carriers.

Any requests to change an order must be done within a 24 hour time frame after the order was placed. Once the 24 hour time frame has passed we cannot guarantee any changes as settings are custom ordered so if this has already been made then changes cannot be made. I DO NOT keep any settings in stock.

I keep any extra preserved powder on hand! This way if something should happen to your piece or you decide you would like another one I have it already processed.

Breastmilk jewellery is the use of breast milk to create a commemorative piece of jewellery that can be worn even after your breastfeeding journey is over. It is a celebration of your unique and beautiful journey, whether it was a day, week, year or beyond. This piece will be a perfect reminder of your heartwarming memories as well as all the hardships and challenges you faced along the way.
